Our local village, Little Common, can be accessed by a footpath from the site. This walk can be by road and path or over fields, and takes approximately 30 minutes. In Little Common you will find most of what you will need on a daily basis - mini supermarket, bakers, butchers, bank, cash points, take away outlets/restaurants (Fish & Chips, Chinese, Thai, Indian) and the local pub, The Wheatsheaf. More information is available on our tourist information notice boards at Reception.
Alternatively, there are footpaths that lead off the Park to Highwoods, a nature conservation wood with a small lake. The wood is managed by enthusiasts that work at making the wood friendly for walkers, pushchair/wheelchair users, horse riding, and is a marvellous place for walking your dog.
