Reception / Shop / Lounge

Our Reception block is also home to the Office, the Shop and the Campers Lounge.

Reception

Our reception is open daily from 08:00 until 22:00 during the Summer season (mid-March to mid-September) and from 09:00 until 16:00 during the Winter season. However, arrivals are welcome outside of these hours by prior arrangement. Reception is your key point of contact during the booking process, your stay and after you have departed. Whilst we have every confidence that you will have an enjoyable stay, should anything not meet your expectations then we would be pleased to hear from you so that we can try to rectify things (unfortunately not the weather, but anything within our control!).

Shop

Our shop is situated in the reception building, open daily from 08:00 until 19:00 during the Summer season and from 09:00 until 16:00 during the Winter season. The shop stocks basic items that you may have forgotten, fresh milk, drinks and sweets as well as Calor Gas and camping hardware. During the Summer season, we also stock Ice Creams and fresh local produce (such as Eggs, Bacon, Sausages and BBQ meats, Kloofs honey and dairy products) and are able to freeze your ice blocks. During the Summer season we also sell newspapers to order - just let reception know each day and the papers will be ready for you to collect when the shop opens the following day.

Campers Lounge

Situated outside of reception, there is a Campers Lounge where you can pick up your free WiFi. There is a variety of tourist information on the walls and shelves to help you plan your stay. There are also some books and games that you are welcome to use during the stay. Either play in the campers lounge or borrow them but please return them after your use so others can enjoy them too!
