Central to our 5 STAR touring park is our modern, centrally heated toilet and shower block, providing a superior standard of facilities for all campers. The calmly decorated, bright and airy toilets and private washing wells are definitely one of the best that you will have ever seen or used. When there is snow outside your feet are warmed by the under-floor heating, whilst the shower body jets massage your back giving a great experience to showering when touring. The shower cubicles are clean and enormous, boasting hot, high-powered, body and head sprays. The large individual personal washing wells, complete with vanity unit and mirror provide ample space for getting ready to start the day. In addition to the FREE hot water, there are also free hand and hair driers.
For those with younger children, there is a large family shower room. Additionally, we cater for baby bathing and changing as well as a facility designed by a wheelchair user for the disabled camper. Please telephone prior to your visit so we may explain to you exactly what we offer.
Located next to the toilet block is a Chemical Waste Disposal room for cassette toilet emptying and cleaning. Nearby there is a sewage dump point for use by relevant vehicles.
Additionally, our second service cabin is located in the middle of the touring park at the entrance to the East Paddock touring field. The facility is a more traditional unisex block which has additional toilets (including children’s’ toilets) and showers. Also inside the block are bidets, baby changing facilities, a washing-up and veg. preparation area and even a pet shower! By the side of the block there is a chemical disposal point and recycling facilities. Designed with an eco-mind-set, the aim of the block was to reduce and conserve energy, operate in a summer environment and have minimal lighting so as to not impact the night vistas that are so pure in this part of the world. Originally intended to be a “nip in” loo for the campers, the block was not intended to be all the all singing and dancing block that the Top Service Cabin is which is only a minute’s walk up the hill.
Next to the Top Service Cabin is a Laundry room with coin-operated washing machine, tumble drier, spin drier and iron for those who want to look their best, all the time.
On the corner of the Top Service Cabin is a Campers Kitchen. Equipped with several sinks, the only decision is who is doing the preparation and who is doing the washing up!
Throughout the park, we promote recycling and provide the various bins/units to collect your separated waste. We empty the “on park” bins several times a day during the peak season and combine the waste at our Recycling Hub near reception.
